Function:
Vacuum lifters all work after the same pattern. A suitable quantity of suction plates achieves an optimal sealing between the work piece and the vacuum lifter. The built up under pressure basically presses the work piece to the vacuum lifter. With the transport units (crane, rail system etc.) the work piece can be moved.
Safety:
All lifters have a reliable safety system. A vacuum tank (in most cases integrated into the construction of the device) and a non-return valve prevent an airing via the vacuum pump and at the same time build up a vacuum store in case of a power failure. All lifters are equipped with visual vacuum gauges and additionally an acoustic or optical warning unit that instantly signals a decrease of the vacuum or a power failure.
Advantages of vacuum technology:
The use of vacuum lifters offers numerous advantages that also pay off economically:
Areas of application:
The vacuum lifters have numerous possible applications. Mainly they are used to load and unload machines, to commission or stack work pieces and many more. All work pieces with dense and smooth up to structured surfaces can be handled.
